No, lots of places are like that, I too couldn't get my doctor to discuss another p[roblem despite the fact I am always quick. I think he uses my appointments to catch up on his others. Asked the receptionist could I have another appointment and she said I would have to do it on line,

Then just pretend I rang up and give me an appointment

Plastic was not around then otherwise I'd have used it, plus plastic is quite bendy so the whole job might even have been possible in one length.
