Me air con top up was 70 sovs. Went to homebase ferra strawberry plant. They ain't gorrany. Gorra clear plastic tub to make into a temporary hedgehog feeder. Went to bnq and gotted two strawberry plants. Neither shop had the ant gel eye wanted.
We can't find it either. We ended up getting two different types of ant killer that is said to take it back to the nests etc. But since then the ants haven't reappeared.
&0 sovs seems dear for an air con top up. I do mine buy buying one of those cylinder refills where you exchange old one, our local Motabitz does em, but maybe yopu wernt for a full empty and recharge. I don't bovva as I knows I has a leak.:(

EDIT You can tell it is early for me, look at all the typos!!, or rather don't!!!

Set an alarm to get up early to beat the heat, then with no forecast at all we had yet anothr flippin thunderstorm during the night.
So up now and brekfussin, sunlight just beginning to show, did my back no good yessdi with the big machine, everything all wet now anyway.

Bit fed up TBH.
Hoping th doc doesn't give us bad news over W's ankle later this arvo.
Guess I'll be doing domestics up till then.
:(:(:(

Suns oot been messing about in a cruiser boat with twin 5l engines  One has been rebuild by a speshelest & doesnt run
its had a new carb & all the rest of the bits, starts then cuts out when going into gear. The lad in the yard who was working
on it has been giving it a wide berth, wonder why. I drove it onto the pontoon with one engine what a pita that was as the
wind was blowing me away & the steering with one engine is a nightmare as it just goes sideways. Haha I was sweating.

... today we finally got her car back (£700) I dropped her off and then went looking for plastic roofing stuff.
When I got home I asked "how was the Air-Conditioning in the car"?
"I didn't turn it on" she says. 😂

I did get some sheet roofing and I have spent all day (till now) fixing it on top of the felt roof structure.
No real right-angles available in any aspect (my bad, it was a quick and cheap build a good few years ago).
But I have managed to get the roof covered securely and I think this repair will see me out. :)

Coo!
Quiet on here today!
We went to the docs and he more or less said that W's ankle break and subsequent pain on the other side of the ankle was an example of "A tree that falls bringing down the rest of the forest" he used this more than once.
He meant that whatever force it took to break the ankle would also have had a distinctly negative effect on the other side of the ankle via compression etc. So it is more or less to be expected, so he prescribed a particular sort of compression bandage and using alternate cold and tepid baths on the foot and ankle.
At least he didn't think more harm had been done other than her having overdone things through not being able to feel stuff down to the paralysis in the foot. So no real worries although it'll prolly take an age to heal.

Did a load of washing and sorting other stuff out. Went up to the Lac de montagnes for a bevvy after the doc, it is always lovely and cool up there.
