use round up, nettles have resilient roots, you only kill those by systemic spray or digging up

Can yer pull nettles out one by one or is there one of thems long roots that go straight down the middle which makes them grow again?
As a temp solution eye may just pull them so eye can fill the garden bin with as much as eye can as soon as eye can ter make the best use of them coming ter empty it. Then eye can fight them when eye have more time.
