Just measured a couple of bits of pipe. 40mm pipe measures 43mm o.d. The 32mm pipe measures 35mm o.d. Measured with a caliper, not blocks of wud :D
Doing a simple job of trying to attach waste to a kitchen sink I found out that old waste pipe, i.e. 1980s, is slightly different to noo 43 mm pipe and both are different to the weird waste pipe that came out of an old Franke sink. (Which I had to use cos of the weird overflow arrangement.)
Right fiddle it was. :(:(

Bit like watching paint dry 😯😯
They are supposedly trying to tell me how my pension transition will be affected if I retired between April '15 and some other date.
I retired on 20/4/2015, so it'll hardly affect me, if at all.
It is all to do with those who paid in originally to an final salary , rahter than an average one. So will affect my ex-colleagues far more than me.

Afternoon folks :).

Well up and at it with grinder in hande at 06:30 to make some dust, then chase out before the builders got here this AM.
Then went into town to insure the "beast". Which has now developed a leaky fuel O ring, so will have to try a fit that in my to do list:vb-groan2:.

Gonna pull some wire when they leave today, then do another couple of hours tomorrow morning.

Nice and sunny here too, but rain forcast tomorrow.

J
I hope you are paying yourself the union rate! 🀣 🀣 🀣 🀣

Mornin
Lovely weather here
I had a Frankie sink once Stanley , could bath the kids in it :D
Weighing in some scrap and old batteries today 😊
Freelander playing up
Stay cool all :)
That is precisely why W demanded I fit the old kitchen sink one in the utility. Deep isn't the word. But this meant the waste pipe exit out the wall isvery nearly at the same height as the bottom of the sink. so you can imagine....
Still it'll be good for bathing a small dog!:)
Sorry bout the Freeloader, hope you fix it easily.:(

I had a similar problem with space on the full size sink in my camper van, I ended up using a bath u bend / trap which took up less than half the space and was closer to the sink when fitted

Well yessdi, W's buthday, went OK.
1 1/2 hour's drive to the restaurant, (wish they'd move it a bit nearer!) but as always, really worth it.
Set off to come back, 10 mins later she pipes up, "Where's my bag?" fiddles around trying to find it. Pull over, not in car, turnaround, sho nuff she'd left it there.
The manager said he wanted to ring our mobiles but couldn't find a number! huh. Her phone was in that bag and mine was in the car but switched off as usual!!
Still, had a lovely day, she loves her pressies and from the book of French birds, in English, that her middle dottir got her she was able to identify the raptor that stood on top of the loggia railing and stared at her before popping off to catch its brekker. (Common Buzzard.)
Also bought her some jeweller's scales but forgot to get batts for them. Schoolboy error!
She loves the bible of gemstones.

So we got home and cracked open the champagne, figuratively speaking. Going shopping in a mo, batteries top of the list.
Hens have given us the first eggs of the season. Small as usual, Lovely to see though.

Have a lovely day folks! :):):):)
