Snot broked any more, I put a 25T shackle on it nearly good as new. Come to think about it I didnt test it, weapon of choice
was the sheer for the afternoons destruction. :D:D
 
When eye fits me water harvester fing to me drain pipe eye need ter run the output along me castle wall, over the top of 4 foot of gate and fence, to me garage guttering. Output on said harvester is 32mm at the end. Tis a slowly tapering fing. Was finking of using this type of connection so eye can gerrit apart if needed. Collar screw lock comoression type. Anyfink stopping me from using it?

That one is for 40mm pipe. You can get one for 32mm pipe. Like this one ----

 
Well here where I live it's a minimum £150/day per man.

Well they priced the job and I didnt try and haggle the price, so I guess they earn what they earn.
Price is all relavant though isnt it.
A packet of fags is less than £3, a six pack of beer is less than £3 so to sustain a worker is pretty cheap per day ;).
But whatever the cost it can still be done right. If they get 150 or 50 a day doesnt mean the plaster finish shouldnt be flat:).
