News tonight says we is getting short on water so a hose pipe ban is on the way.

ITS BEEN RAINING HERE SINCE LAST OCTOBER HOW IS THERE A WATER SHORTAGE.
Because they have abstraction licences which limit how much water they can take from rivers and underground. Water level has dropped and rivers anorl. Yer may have had rain burrits not as much as normal. The locks will be fillling less than normal. To protect drinking water supply they will ask yer to limit usage in case it continues like this.

Leaks in all the pipes , Thames water lose 570m lts a day ,and peeps wonder why thear bills are so high
---and all the profits go to shareholders instead of being ploughed back into repairs, maintenance and upgrades. The country's population has risen considerably since the infrastructure was installed and the demand for fresh water and waste water treatment has gone up. Lack of investment to meet demands. And of course, we the customers don't want to pay any more.
