It's a long time since I was up that way - 50 years!! Used to travel on my motorbike between home and Oban when I had work up that way, 300 miles each way. Had to fill up the tank twice on the way, after starting with a full tank. Last fuel stop just north of Glasgow, with a 100 miles to go and could just make it on the fumes left in the tank. Used to stop at the Rest And Be Thankful for a few minutes breather.
