It's that time of year seed potatoes (earlies) going in tomorrow, and other seeds, on Tuesday we went to the village for a celebration of the beginning of spring the young ones from all the surrounding area visit about 3 village halls all dressed up in different themes and driving made up bangers with no exhust pipes all playing traditional instruments and songs one hell of a night was fun going back up the mountain home on two roads was only one going down 😫 was a bit tender yesterday 😴

I checked mine a few weeks ago via the govt gateway and I also rang the govt helpline to double check. It was pretty straightforward. Turns out I can top up missing years if I want but there's no point as I've already accrued enough to qualify for the max pension anyway. I would try and ring and prepare to be on hold fer a while! Best of luck :)

The W was a few year's short for full pension but with tax on private just was not worthwhile paying the extra for the state full pension

There's one for sale at my local garage, they do vehicles up occasionally then sell them on. I can ask about it if it's not too far for you? Tbh I was thinking about having a look at it for myself 😁

I wouldn't dare upset him by taking pics and saying to him, "I'm now going to embarrass the flip out of you by puttin up on LZ how much of a prat you have been."

He's too good a mate.
First met him when he joined my kit car club having built a very good jeep based on a V8 powered Range Rover.
funnily he seems to not turn spanners much nowadays.
He was also the crew chief who trained me in MSA recovery, with his Disco 1 commercial with a Milemaster hydraulic winch. So generally no idiot. Just got caught out I guess.

He also came with me to our place in Frogland when heavy lifting was required, W was still working, and helped me there with all sorts of stuff.

I think its a good conversion, if you dont know about engines theres nowt to be embarrassed about. I think its a good conversion
id buy it how much is it.
