.... How absolutely wonderful Royal Mail are (NOT) now their tracking says they don't know where my item is and they are trying to locate it. Detailed tracking says they managed to send it to Basildon hub from Chelmsford and then they sent it back to Chelmsford for sending onwards to Benfleet, but now they don't know where it is.
Bunch of incompetents, should have sent it DPD or UPS.
Amazon says if it isn't here by the 18th I will get a full refund.
On the plus side, it's whizzing up and down the A12 and putting in more miles than the Mini :p

They've introduced a new scanning system with teething issues. The cage carrying the packages get scanned, only snag is a driver can consolidate an leave the registered cage behind. So in effect it travels physically yet registered as not left the hub.
As I work in royal mail for a few days a week, I see the results of tracking parcels. Sadly doesn't help you waiting for the package trying to track it 🥺.

I got myself a Sealey 1/2" Allen key socket set & a extendable ratchet for valentines day cause I love myself 🤣🤣

Got them off the tool van that comes in today, snap on was in yesterday but the prices are shocking.

I really rate sealey, just as good and alot cheaper.

a130

Gonna get shaken about

Well W reminded herself of how much she liked her prezzy, apparently the rock is pink quartz and it matches a pair of earrings. ;)

My weighty present turned out to be a box set of "Wheeler Dealers" the Ed China years. :):)
I've prolly watched most of them twice but there will be a few I have missed. So very nice thoughtful idea.
She is slowly recovering, bit more hope now that she might be out before the big day.
And I got my first lesson in "stoma mechanics". ;)

Pink quartz is a very nice gemstone, would rather that than a diamond. W chose well.

Mine is an older version of this one,

I'm glad mine is older as it doesn't have the handle and is in a steel box with a clasp which will last far longer than this plassy box. Prolly takes a lot less room than one which has sockets on each tool.
Each to his own. (Draper). It travels in the locker in the Disco along with my other two big socket sets, one Draper one Sealey.

She is getting to be very expert in jewellery. She buys very well. One of her birthday presents will be a book on gemstones. We got the lady in the shop to show us the ones she uses and discussed which one would be best.
Reminds me I'd better get a search going on amazon as I'll have to find it secondhand.
She gave me a book last Christmas that she had been looking for for 2 years. On the same subject as the DVDs. When summat is out of print there is no other easy way.
Except eBay I suppose.

If you know the ISBN # or author/Title then I can recommend ABE Books online.
