Reading the handbook/manual & learning about the canbus system.
And read about resistors that you may be able to fit
Just been out to start it and it's dead.
Had to unlock door with key, no lights on dash, nowt
Cant get to battery in boot either cause it's locked
Havin a brew then jump leads to unlock it ffs

Just a thought we had one in the house that flickered when off tested all the feeds all ok cleaned the contact's and it stoped but that is 230-240 volt ??

There are loads of those on Utube if you feel like searching. Often in a case like this a tree has fallen and shorted out the LV, overloads it and sometimes boils the oil which can explode like this. The sparks can be the cables, the breakers or the internals once the oil shoots out.

Open bonnet & look for a power post(live where you would jump it) connect battery charger & wait till you can get in boot.Just been out to start it and it's dead.

Been a clever boy and looked in the handbook
There's a little plastic cover under where the number plate lights are and under it is a key slot ... sorted. Battery has very little power in it so I think it's new battery time

I have to leave the bonnet of one of my D1s open except for the safety lock as I cannot open any of the doors with the key. (Not obvious when bought as the fob worked fine as did the ignition. It only just unlocks the petrol flap.
Prolly on starter motor.
