Mornin
Brightening up here
Putting new light fitting up in hall, ceiling crumbled away, just been plastered by council, must have missed that bit, old fitting held in with tape and silicon ffs.
Girlfriend cooking tea ....again, must be doing something right 🙂
Stay safe all 😀

Just spent a large amountof time on one of the other roofs. Went up there just to change a tile.
Ended up lifting the problem edge of every tile to see how bad they were and sweep away moss and other bits. Luckily this roof is smaller than the other one.
Still have to get back up to daub "stuff" on the damaged but not serious parts of the ones that need it on both roofs. and one on the central part which is higher up still. Think I'll tie the brush to a longish stick!!
Have fun folks!
:):):)

Replaced yet another tile on a different part of one roof, the other side of the one with all the problems. Also saw that quite a few tiles on one of the 4 slopes of the higher, central roof need attention. I don't seem to be catching much of a break with this flipping thing.
For some reason which I cannot account for, I got off the roof, relaxed, had a cooling drink (as it is still veyr hot here) sat at the pooter, then my back partially seized up. Had to go and sit in another chair for quite a while to unseize it. Not as if I had been working as hard on it as before.

Still, shopping day tomoz.
sleep tite all!

Size of the hailstones that hit some 3 communes around Gaillac, and decimated lots of vineyards.
Also didn't do peeps solar panels any good.
Other crops suffered too of course.:(:(:(

No doubt you'll find a couple of tenners in the pocket when they arrive -----

I once bought a camo jacket in the pub off some lad (yup had a skin full) I paid 50 sovs for it & my bro said here lets try it on
& started going though the pockets & pulled out the receipt for 40 quid 🤣 🤣 everyone laughing there heads off....
then pulled out 100 sovs out the other pocket. 🤣🤣🤣 His face haha

Ive heard about massive hail stones but never seen em.
The ones that hit our place and dented car roofs were even bigger than that a few years back. Our area is for some reason prone to it. The area had to be declared a natural disaster area so that peeps could get their insurance to work.
You should have seen the queues outside the glass sellers for glass for porches, and you couldn't get roof tiles for love nor ready money!
