Mornin
Cooler and fresher here, 17 and dry
Starting to make a spare wheel carrier for the camper today
Should have painted it whilst the weather was hot
No new neighbours yet 🙂
Tele broke, picture goes off after half an hour .. more expense .. might sit in camper and watch that one 🤔
Cafe breakfast today, nine quid for two, dearer than bran flakes but she's worth it
Stay happy all 🙂

Got my gas n leccy bill this week. Based on their estimated readings because I forgot to send the readings in, and I don't / won't have a smart meter. Checked my readings and their estimated readings were quite a bit higher. SO I sent the new readings in - and got a revised bill with a refund of 50 sovs. And as the unit prices drop next week, I would have paid for energy not used, at the old higher rate. Won't say who the supplier is, but they have eight legs.

No faffing with the sticky velcro fly screens
Trouble with mozzies is, 1/ W is allergic to all bites and some round here are very "dirty" it being in the country/wooded area. 2/ they fly around or through anything that doesn't seal completely to the window frame which is why doing French doors, that you actually want to walk through from time to time, is so difficult.
We have in fact thought about, and are still considering, old style mosquito nets that hang over the bed!!
(Excuse me while I don my solar topee/pith helmet.) 🤣 🤣 🤣

All sympathy, Stan. It’s a tough time but I’m sure you’ll give her the love to help her through, one way or t’other.
Thanks very much for this.
We are very worried that she is fast going downhill. This morning she refused to eat anything whatsoever, even cheese. she also will go and stand in front of her water bowl but not drink from it.
We wonder if the stroke has left her with a form of dementia which has got to the point where she has forgotten how to eat and drink. She is just lying on the floor tiles. We pick her up and move her in with us, then she gets up and walks off to the hall, where admittedly it is cooler. :( :( :(

Oh no so sorry to hear shes poorly, I broke my heart when I lost mine. Best wishes for her hopefully just an infection & it
clears up.
Thanks very much for this. We'd like to think so too. But when I asked the vet for the best case scenario and the worst case scenario, she didn't give us a best case. So that doesn't bode well. So we are not optimistic. :(
