Busy wee day for me.....went into the shed & one of my strip lights had popped. I had 2 new led strip lights delivered the
other day so wired them up so I could find my hammer fixings 8" ones. Damp proof on & fitted some 6x2s for the wall plates.
Done one side then removed the lintel for the side door as once it was fitted the rain washed the mortar out a bit so it sunk.
Refitted it & 10 mins later it bloody rained  Had a coffee then my mate turned up asking if I wanted a hand to shift the scaffold
& finish the other side. He passed earlier with his dog & asked if I wanted a hand I said no its ok but when he got home sat down
and went to open a beer he felt guilty so came to help me haha (great lad) :)
My big hammer drill made a funny noise when I turned it on so had to use my wee Dewalt drill done the job tho.

Pizza n beers for dinner. 🍻

It's to check the roof on a three story town house, that's gonna be one hell of a stick to check the (w)hole of the roof ... :D
Get a drone company in. What’s the problem? You could always pop some photos and I would show some one… the mrs who may have some contacts.

Cherry pickers may need permits to operate in your area.yep mrs is in the basket

Bit of a curate's egg day then. :(

Not the first time ive taken a roof ladder up & went up the front with the machine & the put the ladder down the back (with a harness on lol)
When I got up on the roof I mentioned to replace a bust tile, I took a rope with me but there was nowhere I could lash it to. It was not nice, as the bust tile was close to an edge, and the side it was on even the 5m ladder couldn't reach. Roof ladder wouldn't have helped as there was no real ridge I could hang it off. It's a cut roof with each angled ridge ending in the centre. If I ever have to do it again I'll use a stupidly long rope and secure to to something ground level, like a Land Rover!
