Check with a drone, thats what I used to do as you can see with the FPV (first person view) googles. Sold that one before the
new model came out & it wouldnt be worth as much.

Each "brand" of tower has individual requirements for stability. Normally they should not need to be tied to a building as that is not part of their design. Usually stability is provided by the outriggers. Towers should only be erected by trained and competent persons. I would recommend you get a scaffolding company in to put up a tower for you. (I was a qualified scaffold inspector in my working life so I am aware of the big risks involved by not getting it right).
