Best Thai I have had was in Thailand, as the best Indian was in India, Newton circus in SG was amazing.

Never gonna get the real thing in other countries as they cater for taste and don’t have the same ingredients.
But that is not to say that some aren’t good.

True and a lot of curries we think of as being authentic Indian ones were in fact invented by them in the UK for UK tastes.

Well the only reason I say it was good is because the restaurant staff were a Thai family living here in the UK and I guess they knew how to cook their national food. It wasn't like the "chain" Thai restaurants we have in the UK. :D
Our local Chinese was like that, sadly it has folded recently. The only place we would ever got o for a chinese meal, had my retirement do there too. I think Covid saw them off.:(

Funny you said that cause thats exactly what ive done I remembered refurbishing and old Long long yacht a few years ago
& the chap wanted it done like that iirc there was 10 coats on the thing. The only bit I sanded was the one run. :)
Went down the ship got some teak facing board which ive stripped & varnished today. :)
Nice to know I get some things right!!;););)

6mm reservoir isnt deep at all 🤣 I hope its really wide like a mile 🤣
The roof surface area, horizontally, cos in fact it's pitched, is 170 sq metres. 1 mm over 1 sq metre = 1 litre, so a roof full = 170 litres. the tank is about 1000 litres I reckon.
I don't know if it being bigger cos it is pitched would make any diff. If so it can only supply more watter! ;)
