I carry two 20l jerry cans in the 90 on long journeys. Never had a problem filling them and nothing in my insurance saying I cannot 👍
Have you informed the insurance company that you carry large quantities of hazardous substances covered in the carriage of dangerous goods act, in your fuel tank at all times!? In the case of a series, you actually sit on it!? 🤯🤔🙄🤪

Watched a programme on beeb4 last night, all about diesel injuns. From their invention (I think it was an actor called Vin Diesel who invented it in 1892 :p), up to the giant container ship injuns. Very interesting. Apart from the ECU and associated bits, the engines are basically unchanged since their invention. And they originally ran on peanut oil as diesel fuel couldn't be invented until after the engine was designed.
Wot was it called? Eye cant find it.

Slight problem getting her paper. :(
The money for the paper had been stolen by the grandson.
The little git has form and has done this before.
There's been £4 in pound coins on my desk starting Monday.
£1 for Mondays Paper, £1 for Tuesday's, £1 for Weds and £1 for Thurs.
Guess who got picked up from school for the first time this week yesterday?
Yup! Little Light-Fingered Larry.

You need to wait until there is an occasion when he and his siblings are getting given some money ( or some kind of treat) and then make a point of giving him £1 less (or something akin to the value) than the others - when he questions it just draw his memory back to the time when he ............... from your desk. Be patient and just wait your opportunity, kids do not realise that adults have memories like elephants! Just let it go for now, your time will come.

What a wee monkey, did you give him what for?

Tried me spare MAFT sensor in me tratter. No change to rough running. Gotta think and investigate some more. All indications are it is an air temperature sensing issue. There is another temp sensor downstream of the intercooler (charge air temp sensor), might try that. Egg zorst smells of over fuelling, but no smoke. Runs like a sewing machine up to about 2000+ rpm and seems ok above 3000 rpm. Also suspect the EGR valve might be stuck open, but not showing any fault codes for this.

And the Disco has suddenly started playing up. I inlock it, a few seconds later it locks itself, even with doors open, and gives off little beeps. I actually started it and left it running for a little while before closing it all down again and going out in the Pluriel.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Yerp, old Herr diesel used to put one of his engines on his stand at shows and ask people to bring stuff to slurp into to it to see if it would run. It ran on most anything, any sort of oil deffo.
