We are not happy. (Or any of Snow Whites other friends in case you ask). Finished the turbo swap today and ran the engine. Smooth up to 2500rpm, bag of squit 2500-3000, then spins up smooth again. At least I know the turbo is ok. Diagnostics indicate the intake air temperature sensor is detecting a fault (its incorporated in the MAF sensor). I've got a spare one, will drop it in tomorrow and try again. I do hope that is the problem, its under a minute to change the MAF, including putting the kettle on.

As thay come of the tree with the green outer the same for pickled walnuts just give a good wash and no mouldy one's after 2 months give or take strain the liquid l use a paper coffee filter add sugar to you tast and bottle it 🍸🍸

On a TD5 you could just unplug the MAF and it'd run right. Can you not do this on your motor?

Tried that on a previous occasion, it didn't work (as the fault turned out it was a split in the intercooler that time). The MAF on mine incorporates the air intake temperature sensing as well, and the nanocom says there is an error in the temperature bit. Here's hoping -----

Fink he has the transit in disguise so may not be that easy ;). Older is always better/easier that way.

Watched a programme on beeb4 last night, all about diesel injuns. From their invention (I think it was an actor called Vin Diesel who invented it in 1892 :p), up to the giant container ship injuns. Very interesting. Apart from the ECU and associated bits, the engines are basically unchanged since their invention. And they originally ran on peanut oil as diesel fuel couldn't be invented until after the engine was designed.
