more info on private use/storage of fuel

When these goods are flammable liquids carried in refillable receptacles filled by, or for, a private individual, the total quantity shall not exceed 60 litres per receptacle and 240 litres per transport unit.

You can store up to 30 litres of petrol at home or at non-workplace premises without informing your local Petroleum Enforcement Authority (PEA).

i dont count 'overnight' as storage, its short term overnight stop during transport

Lovely morning
Got my doctors appointment in two weeks time, arm be better or fallen off by then :p
Toast and marmalade then might mow the grass
Why are my flower heads all facing the house rather than the sun ?
Glad to hear you got one.
It is no wonder so many people go to A&E when they can't get an appointment.
InPoole hostible there is a GP in A&E precisely for this sort of thing.:(

My anemonies are doing the same - except in reverse! Fortunately, they are all in troughs so I solved the little problem and just turned the troughs so they face the sun instead of the house. :)

blimey. just been reading up because theres talk of requirement to carry a fire extinguisher if you bring your own fuel.

we share transport, so thats 2 bikes. each bike will use 20L of fuel or there abouts over a day, maybe a bit less. you can only store up to 30L at home without a licence!
even seen a post online where someones car insurance only allows one 5L can to be carried!!

I nearly brought home an IBC full of fuel 🤣

Afternoon folks :)

Been lovely here 🫠.

Just made a "Jon flat pack kitchen" for friend over the road, Well it was only a 8x4ft board cut in half a few wall batons and 2 legs;). Chucked it all including tools in the trailer and delivered with the quad, and fitted.
Just back and had a shower, now feel human(ish) again:). But now she has 14ft of worktop to work with and it helps visualize what she finally needs/wants. Just got to plck up the courage to go put the sockets in next:vb-groan2:

Going to the shop in a mo as there seems to be an extreme lack of rewards for the worker:vb-drink:.

Then I may fall in the pool for a bit of a 🏊‍♂️

Been thinking its ages since we went out to eat🤔 well a few days anyway so I can see that happening soon as we get fed up with deciding what to eat;).
Friend dropped round 2 dozen fresh eggs, why she has so many chickens to just give away the eggs I don't know, She's:vb-confused2: Dutch. Used them for some scrambled eggs on toast they are really yellow yolks and were lovely:).

Hope everybody's day is going fine.
