We tried making our own, weren't a bad effort. but we have found an English butcher in country and his stuff is great, we get a couple of orders a year.
Wonder if he would send to you? he overnights ours frozen and we pick up at the office. He is far north west in country so not much difference in travel?
There is gonna be someone doing the same thing in your country.

We are a bit lazy when it comes to this sort of things or you could say we are adapt but you always miss the things you can't get or have . PIES the W is a master chicken & leek chicken & ham game pie pork pies with the jelly steak and ale just to name a few did you have any luck with getting your dust covers? Got to do mine soon again only a year old 😠

25-30 unripe green walnuts 1lt alcohol of choice we use grappa 1 star anased 1 cinnamon stick put in a big glass kilner jar leave for 2 months it will go dark brown then you can add sugar to your tast gets better with age very simple to make ☺☺

do you mean before the shell forms and Chuck the whole thing in, or do you remove the green outer husk(somehow)?
