Measure the gap slab to slab, add 'overhang' for both ends, same for the wid-ethe :)
Iv'e not a problem doing it really, I'm just moaning. I have to use a big reeled tape measure and it is difficult hold one end down on my own, as I don't want to be hauling slabs around etc to act as weights.
The things is the edges will be bound, extra cost but it'll make it last longer. If I get it wrong I can't just simply clip a bit off which I could if I got a cheapo one. So at well over €300 I don't want to make a boo-boo!
It doesn't help that that tape starts measuring right at it's tip. Typical builders jobbie designed to be hooked over summat.
I'll just have to hook it over summat else, bung a big stone on it then do some maffs!
Cheers!

It comes on rolls 2m + a little bit wide so order close enough over as you will have to trim for any stairs they run it through the hot iron to stick it together. Don't forget to get the rolley up pole and straps for it. Ours is at 26 now checked it today and gave the shark a run so probably have a dip tomorrow :vb-banana: .

Our pool is 3.64 metres wide and 8 metres long.
I've got a rolley up pole I can use, came off the old pool cover. I'll make stuff to support it with offcuts of big wood I have hanging around.
No idea how warm it is, it needs a damn good clean first. I'll only do that if it is warm enough for us and our guests to use.
Being a salt pool at least cleaning it is quite easy, well usually, if my back is normalish!
When you say "chlorinator" is that what you mean? The Frogs call them "generators".
I also have to lower the level so the skimmer can work.
I can only dream of having a shark! I know they are brill.;)

In my days as a setting out engineer on construction sites, I used a 14lb sledge hammer to hold the end of the tape down (when working single handed).

The bats are back

Afternoon folks :) .

Well fixed the chlorinator, not as I first thought but hey its sealed and not leaking when running.

So I thought I could cut a 115mm soil pipe seal and superglue it, hitch the superglue has superglued itself to the inside of the tube and isn't coming out to play. Ok out with the contact glue, Right now lets try it, Fail water all over the pump room and me:oops:. Its too thick:(. So looked at the spare chlorinator and used the seal of that its a flat rubber seal but it works:vb-banana: Sorted.

Got this while in the UK,

Think I have most bits for the summer garage project, just need some engine and gearbox mounts then I think that's enough to do it to it.
Oh its a little bit of trickery that means a Gems ECU will run standalone with out the BECM:cool: No more "engine disabled" EVER:vb-banana:.

Off out to eat in a mo as neither of us can be bothered to think of what to have for tea;).

Full on petrolhead day tomorrow with F1 and MotoGP :vb-banana:

You all have a relaxing weekend doing what you like/want:).

That's a good little gadget

... that I managed to deadlift 3 sets of 10 reps with 60Kg, so I have upped the weight to 62.5Kg for tomorrow and maybe all of next week. If I do that every week then that's 10K more a month..... Until I run out of weights or my thigh bones slide off the top of my shin bones. Lots of "Snap-Crackle & Pop" from the knees, but no pain. :D
