Don't tell us you've lost that super slim waist you is so proud of?

Now I know why the Chiro lady asked me to keep my shirt on this time!!!:(:(:(

I aint lost it yet, I thought I was getting weaker too well until we were starting a hand crank fire pump yesterday

Overcast today, which is ok coz I can eschew the otherwise obligatory hat.

Dottir and beau coming for lunch (he's vegan, but otherwise seems quite sane).

Start getting bits together for a few days away and give the mighty tratter a once over with a dutty rag.

Int gerrin up just yet tho..

Afternoon folks :) .

Well fixed the chlorinator, not as I first thought but hey its sealed and not leaking when running.
seal.jpg

So I thought I could cut a 115mm soil pipe seal and superglue it, hitch the superglue has superglued itself to the inside of the tube and isn't coming out to play. Ok out with the contact glue, Right now lets try it, Fail water all over the pump room and me:oops:. Its too thick:(. So looked at the spare chlorinator and used the seal of that its a flat rubber seal but it works:vb-banana: Sorted.

Got this while in the UK,

Gems imob.jpg

Think I have most bits for the summer garage project, just need some engine and gearbox mounts then I think that's enough to do it to it.
Oh its a little bit of trickery that means a Gems ECU will run standalone with out the BECM:cool: No more "engine disabled" EVER:vb-banana:.

Off out to eat in a mo as neither of us can be bothered to think of what to have for tea;).

Full on petrolhead day tomorrow with F1 and MotoGP :vb-banana:

You all have a relaxing weekend doing what you like/want:).

You know "measure twice, cut once"?
Pain in the rear.
I have to measure the internal dimensions of the pool to order one of those bubble blanket things to try and get the water to heat up better. Obvs the edging slabs hang over the edges of it, i.e. where the water touches the sides. So I am trying to measure it single handedly. Right sod doing the length.
I'll work it out but meanwhile I've done all of it once then the two ends again.
I started entering all the figures on a website and discovered that 2 years ago I'd entered a plan for an exterior cover and the measurements don't add up to what I am entering now. i.e. the interior mesaurement seems to be longer than the exterior measurement.:mad::mad::mad: I'm hoping I got it wrong two years ago, I never did order it.
I'll do it after lunch.

Measure the gap slab to slab, add 'overhang' for both ends, same for the wid-ethe :)

It comes on rolls 2m + a little bit wide so order close enough over as you will have to trim for any stairs they run it through the hot iron to stick it together. Don't forget to get the rolley up pole and straps for it. Ours is at 26 now checked it today and gave the shark a run so probably have a dip tomorrow :vb-banana: .
