Oh dear. My lad that's going through this messy break up and divorce got a call yesterday.
Major redundancies have occurred in the US(HQ) arm of his company and there are to be redundancies in Europe too.
His boss has asked him to attend a meeting (with him, and the top UK man). It's not looking good.
He has been told at least one of the four of them is for the chop. He thinks it is him. :(
Will probably know later today.
Only liking this cos it's the roolz.
Are there any vacancies around for what he does?
Crossed fingers for some sort of a positive outcome.

Morning all another wee long lay in well tis 8.30ish then messed aboot, damp start got a call first thing from my mate
says hes jacking his job in the yard cause he's had enough of the lack of organisation since ive been off.
Oh well just lost my best guy. Gutted.
No chance of you catching things up quick, i.e. going in just to organise stuff and telling your mate you'll be back soonish?
Such a shame. last thing you need is another Wingnut. :(

Deary me.
nothing but bad news this morning.😢😢😢😢 EDIT Not trooo, all those peeps winning money ont pools!

And is it my imagination but are fewer peeps posting on 'ere, or is it LZ in total?
I find all my alerts go to "spam" and now even spam isn't showing anything, so i have to look.
None of that anyone else's fault, obvs.
But I can't persuade it to stop doing it.
Wondering if others are having this.
Have as good a day as you can.:):):)

Nope im in the huff.
You're in a huff? Cos he complimented you on your organisational skills? By threatening to walk out?
Well, I guess his was a mixed message!
Mind you, yours could be too.
"Here! See this bot? Either you agree to back to work if I help, and we drink it, or you don't, and I beat you to pieces with it!"

Soz. Can't help but try to see a funny side.
But you might have to swallow your bile, and simply ask him not to F off as he is your best guy. Maybe you could wangle him a bonus for taking on more/your work as you aren't there at the mo?

Just scratching around here. 😢

Roolz like only. Go see him and explain that you will be back as soon as you can, but in the interim would he like to do the organising to his own preferences?

Ooohhhh that's exciting.
I just went to put a tool away in my shed at the bottom of the garden and when I opened the 2 small double-doors I noticed a couple of bees buzzing around the doorway at both top corners.
I put the tool away on a shelf and closed the doors and.... More bees were buzzing around in the vicinity.
I stood back and watched and sure enough several drones appeared and wandered around the front shiplap panelling and then made their way in through a small gap. My shed is double skinned with 7" shiplap boarding on the outside with 4" timber framing and a plywood inner skin. I think a Queen has decided to set up residence. That's not honey funny. :(

I don't think you can do anything about bees yourself, may be a call to a professional?
