You can work miracles with Control and V !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(copy with control and C, then it stays in the memory until you save something else!!!);););););)

Weather here. humph!
After a longish dry spell we have been rpomised more or less non-stop rain for the next 7 days or so.

OOOOPS!
So guess who jumped out of the house and onto the three wheeled weed-whacker!
Fing what looks like this, if this link works!
https://www.leroymerlin.fr/produits..._QPFgV_z5zors_VRO5xoCOfwQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

Two tanks of juice and the worst has been done.
Bit tired now, tis a bit of a beast to manhandle around! but happy with the result.
Just had two beers and a bacon sarnie.
Have decided this is the year W will speak French, so giving her the "bain français" treatment. Non-stop.
I think her problem is she is "verbophobic!"
A lot of "Ecoute et répète!" going on. Plus much waving of hands and synonym use!

She has yet to strangle me!! nor I her!!

Have a lovely day!
:):):):)

It would be great if I could but so few places do this. In fact I don't know of any. But I do do biz with peeps like Halifax credit cards who just warn you to go on their website and look at your bill.
Sivat, the water people don't have a website yet, but they will do within a couple of years because it is becoming law in France that all companies must do this and stop sending paper bills out! This would solve tons of problems, he said through gritted teeth!
Anyway the DD I have set up will sort it. ;)

M pays most of our bills through E-pay, others we manage paying online, But then we are a bit 3rd world;).

W pays all our bills that aren't DDs by ringing her bank and doing it like that, very old school. Free on the phone from Frogland. And as RBS records all calls she notes the date and time and the name of the bod then if there is a cock-up on the human front she can help them find the recording. It always works!
So I 'll see your "old skool" and raise it!!;)

Afternoon folks:).

Its been a bit rainy here last couple of days so not really managed to use the bucket of enthusiasm, Been checking on the builders in friends house and they have done a good job, so far:). Got to explain to the window guy what we want tomoz, its always a task as they dont believe me:rolleyes: but we get there in the end.
Supposed to be better tomoz so I can get on and dig me last oles:).

Made the first coleslaw and a potato salad monday tis lovely, bring on the summer:D.

Thats providing you get the bill to know you have to pay;).

M gets a "bing" then pushes a few buttons and says oh thats the water bill paid.

"Drink water from the spring where the horse drinks. A horse will never drink bad water.
Make your bed where the cat sleeps.
Eat the fruit that was touched by the worm. Freely pick the mushrooms on which the insects sit. Plant your tree where the mole digs.
Build your house where the snake suns itself.
Dig your well where the birds build their nests in hot weather. Go to sleep and wake up with the chickens and you will reap the golden grain of the day.
Eat more green vegetables, and you will have strong legs and an enduring heart. Swim more often and you will feel on land like a fish in the water.
Look at the skies more often and not at your feet, and your thoughts will be clear and light.
Keep silent more often, speak less, and silence will reign in your soul, and your spirit will be calm and peaceful.”

Tis true.
dottir checks on the house regularly and sends us all bills. but if bill paying time comes and they are late from her, W rings her Credit card and I go online to read mine.
Only at the beginning of the season do we have one other C card used and so first bill time I have to ring them too. If D hasn't sent it over.
so the rest are paid by DD anyway.
So post and phone.. mostly, old skool rools!

...summat really weird has happened to our home made Crème de Cassis.
Went to make a couple of Kirs for our apéritifs.
Got a new bot out of the wine room, it was deffo cold. Took the cork out and tried to pour some out.
It wouldn't.
Has turned to a funny sort of thin jelly!!
So it is now like the most alcoholic blackcurrant jelly you have ever tasted. :D
We'll keep it in the kitchen where it might warm up and thin a bit. (Did run it under the hot tap a bit, so it would dribble out.)
Funny thing is that we made it at the beginning of last season, as you would expect and it has been fine until now. And cannot imagine with the quantity of alcohol in it that it has got sort of frozen. In the making of it you cook it, i.e. the juice with red wine before diluting it with vodka and bottling it. Still, tastes OK, thought there is a bit of a deposit in the glass.
Hmmmm!!:confused::confused::confused:
