They was talking ont radio about tomatoes not being available. Eye was right. Looks like we will see the ocasional blips in supply. Un there was me finking we would get cheaperer food and more ovvit after br*xit, cus thats wot we was teld.
LOL:D:D:D
Though shortages aren't all down to Brexit, there are shortages of all sorts of stuff in Yurope due to the weather.;)

The food probably is cheaper
Spending 6 months per year in France as well as in the UK I can state that food is deffo NOT cheaper in the UK. It has got more expensive in both the UK and in Europe but the quality in France is much higher, which is why we loaded freezer boxes with meat to bring over here. The weekly supermarket shop used to be much the same in both countries but with Brexit, Covid and the weird weather things have changed dramatically and there are shortages of all sorts of stuff, certain oils and eggs for instance.
We even have friends who take food from France when they go back to Holland, so there are differences between European countries.
Markets in France have better and cheaper food than the same in the UK and food prices of certain commodities vary from area to area.
So it isn't clear at the moment and I don't think it will be until some things settle down. .

Is this anything to do with you getting heated at work earlier?
I hope you get over whatever it is.
When I got suspended at work, or took myself off due to disciplinary or grievance issues, it was always for a month, so I got a lot of DIY done.;):D:D
But I expect you mean health issue, so I hope whatever it is gets better soon.:):):)
Yes my health, I have yet another infection and cannot walk again. Hopefully sorted with the treatment plan and back to it in a week or so :)

cheers, no idea how to choose, both unpleasant, one with an added cost vs lengthy repair that will last for.. how long..? o_O
Depends where it is from a cosmetic viewpoint I guess.
RCW (although not the most pleasant of procedures may give a fix that lasts long enough as long as you don't start chewing rocks. :)
Whichever you choose, I hope it is not too unpleasant. :)

rcw? root canal? not if extracted
As I said, don't know where the RC stops i.e. is it only in the tooth or can it go on into the jawbone?:eek::eek:
Infection there wouldn't be funny.:eek::eek::eek:
As others have said, what happens when you chew with one tooth over or under an opposite bit of gum?
No experience of this except when I had four wisdom teeth out so the above scenarion never happened.:(

no pain anywhere yet, so no infection anywhere
root canal is just the tooth.. if you have bone infection then the tooth comes out, i believe.. hopefully wont be going there

I do have one back tooth that it took 3 visits and two different dentists to repair properly, and it is a bit dodgy, but OK if I keep it really clean. The second dentist took time enough to ensure the area around the tooth stayed dry while the glue was going off and that did it.
So on balance I think I'd go for that if I was in the same situation again, but then I have a national health dentist. ;)
