There are some links to ones that look pretty small in that link I sent you. but my D2 doesn't need non return valves, I think the pump must hold enough water in it so it comes on without them. Which model LR is this for?

I used to be fearful of bending thick-walled steel tube before my late friend made me a tube bender with a 10-ton bottle-jack.
As you can see..... I now bend tubes with IMPUNITY.

I never have to re-thread mine 'cos I always leave the last metre or so of the one I am taking off and then just knot the new one to that bit and gently pull it through until the knot reaches the needle - then you will cut the old one away and just thread the needle with the new thread.
