did the dream have you looking for a loo and not being able to find one? That's fab!! I woke at 5 mix of bladder and a dream must have woken me up.
Me neither!!Proper not on the mood fer wuk today.
I was happy with the idea back then in my 20's and 30's, but if I could go back in time I would choose a different path.Never been maternal.
Glad to hear this, hope it keeps continuing!!Both........
I am feeling a little better cheers. Not quite ready for an exercise program but not screaming in agony so all is good
I often think that, but I would of only spent my money on old bangers and pork pies.Good call. If we hadn't then I would be a rich man.
Well its not for everyone. Some go OTT and it consumes them if they cannot.Never been maternal.
Me too not paternal either, but then had the sense to meet a woman with grown up kids so I could still enjoy grandfatherhood, which is fun!!I was happy with the idea back then in my 20's and 30's, but if I could go back in time I would choose a different path.
Now its funny but just like my yFather before me the whole "Grandfather" thing doesn't do a thing for me.Me too not paternal either, but then had the sense to meet a woman with grown up kids so I could still enjoy grandfatherhood, which is fun!!
Even as only a step father i know what you mean. Although I love them our middle daughter and her husband still sail so close to the financial wind that we have to lend them money, i.e.Ks of dosh. to the extent that we had to take out a thingy on their house at one point, (can't remember the technical term, for the secured asset whatnot!)Well its not for everyone. I'm in the take-it-or-leave-it camp. I was ok with it in my 20's & 30's but I think it places a huge burden upon you forever.
If I knew then what I know now kind of thing.
Ive only ever had to bail out one of my kids, the eldest daughter who takes after her mother for financial planning. I only did it cos the bailiffs were getting nasty. Otherwise my line has always been, you make your bed, you lie in it. All of my kids and step kids have more income than me.Even as only a step father i know what you mean. Similar to ours in that they'd have lost the house if we hadn't stepped in.Ive only ever had to bail out one of my kids, the eldest daughter who takes after her mother for financial planning.
