Our next door neighbour in Hull. her husband was a trawlerman, died at sea.
Her record player wouldn't work so a radio operator from a trawler came to have a look at it. He didn't fix it, so he came back to have another go.
And came back, and came back.
And married her!
But never fixed it!:):):):):):):):):)
So do you have much more to do for her?!;)




(Sadly he too then died at sea. :( she married a landlubber after that!;))

Oooft poor chaps,:(:( I have the prop nut off the Nancy Glen fishing boat lying outside the shed just as wee reminder of life & death. I was going to stamp it with the name & date when it went down in case

Iced up and rolled over, both times.
Think they have ways and means nowadays, sort of socks that inflate or summat last I heard.
Do stamp it, it'll be a kind of tribute.;)
