Feckin missing like a tank. If it had a coil, a distributor, points, a king lead and spark plug leads I'd be able to narrow it down. But a coil pack has a big stamp on it in Latin "Noli interfere" so all I want to do is hit it with my big hammer, smash it utterly to pieces and then fit a new one, EXCEPT I cannot be sure that is the problem.
I have never had a spark plug "go" on me unless I cracked the insulation so it could POSSIBLY be that, but all I am going to do is change the plugs and see if the problem goes away.
Then it is off to the sh!troen garage.
Hate it when a car beats me. This will only be the second time in my life. If I have to send it to the garage. (Mind if it was my car not the wife's I would persevere!)
Ah it's a citreon thats why. had friends think they are cute and cool then always wondered why they were breaking

Dull and damp this morning but still not cold so no need to switch the gas back on, hoping to keep it off till October :)
Making some tops for sink/cooker in the camper today, hoping to be able to iron the edge strips on as I've never done it before, here goes
Are you using sh!tboard?
I've done it a coupla times. It does sort of work but I'd put the join at the back or somewhere where it can't catch on owt.
Could you not simply fill it sand it an paint it or summat?

Had to get board to match the cabinet that's in there, putting lids on the sink and cooker

you need to do so many filter changed with it, ill just stick with diesel. my friend acidenlty put 2 litres of petrol in her engine then realised and put 40 litres of diesel in after. I had to hold my laughter in.
My missus filled her diesel tank with petrol, twice on two different cars. luckily realised in time. Cost her a packet. The garage claimed an hour or more "labour" for the time a mech spent NOT looking at it as it drained out.
I once did the same in Frogland. Stoopid campervan driver had pinched the correct pump pistol and put the wrong one back in the wrong slot. you cannot rely on the colour of the pipes always. Again realised in time. Garage that sorted it only charged me for the tow and agreed on how to do it the best way. Decent types.

TBH we like em and they are or have been pretty reliable. Had BX1600, Xsara, GS club, etc. Renaults reliable too. I adored my Renault 17. I'd buy em over and over again. But the more modern a car is.......
This Pluriel breaks it's electric rear window mechanisms for a pastime. They both need fixing at the mo. and last year the O2 sensor went fubar. But I fixed that really easily and cheaply. Is fast becoming a classic.

I did it on my old Berlingo. I went in an told the nipper behind the counter.. You'll still l have to pay for it..
We can get someone in for 200 sovs..

Told him to do one and pushed it off the forecourt. Disconnected a hose and a mate brought one of them squeezy pump things, took ages, we both had forearms like Popeye :)

No its always worth putting the nozzle in your mouthfirst to do a taste test before you fill your tab. keeps people away from you at the pumps but somehow turns the tannoy speaker on.

Got a noo key made for the tranny cost 140 quid not too shabby I thought.
Also spent most of the messing about with the towbar wiring ffs for some reason the
original wiring (not the standard 7 plug colours) I got all the lights working individually
but when they were all wired up feckn crimbo tree  ended up pulling the lights out
& wired into them. I hate doing that but it was driving me crazy. Sorted now :):)
