Mornin all, suns oot damp tho as it hammered doon all last night. Im taking the morning off
my mate is coming to make me a noo key for the tranny & I need to wire the towbar.
I started it a few weeks ago but as the loom wasnt the usual 7 core colours its a pita :rolleyes:
Got everything working apart from the brake lights so I'll just tap into the rear lights.

Too late, lost the stoopid metal bit on the clip of the connector that is supposed :mad::mad::mad: to make it easier to get it undone. It just pinged off into the wild green yonder.
I'm gonna try a new set of plugs which won't do it any harm and if that doesn't do it then feck it off to the Sh!troen garage.

This question was asked of the "Direction Générale de la Police Nationale" who said "On expiry of a long-stay visa a person can carry out a short stay of 90 days in any 180 day period without having to leave the country. At the end of these two stays, when leaving the country, they must explain to border authorities that they have completed a short stay following their long stay and present relevant evidence to prove the legitimacy of their whole stay in France."
Whatever that last part may mean!
We aren't going to rely on this and we have no idea what he/she meant by "proving the legitimacy of their whole stay".
Maybe Bulgar land interprets it all differently.
And who is SG? :confused:

you need to do so many filter changed with it, ill just stick with diesel. my friend acidenlty put 2 litres of petrol in her engine then realised and put 40 litres of diesel in after. I had to hold my laughter in.

Feckin missing like a tank. If it had a coil, a distributor, points, a king lead and spark plug leads I'd be able to narrow it down. But a coil pack has a big stamp on it in Latin "Noli interfere" so all I want to do is hit it with my big hammer, smash it utterly to pieces and then fit a new one, EXCEPT I cannot be sure that is the problem.
I have never had a spark plug "go" on me unless I cracked the insulation so it could POSSIBLY be that, but all I am going to do is change the plugs and see if the problem goes away.
Then it is off to the sh!troen garage.
Hate it when a car beats me. This will only be the second time in my life. If I have to send it to the garage. (Mind if it was my car not the wife's I would persevere!)
