The hedging argument was quite amusing so much I had to walk away lol, one lady says she
owns 4 feet of the other ladys garden as she owns the whole hedge (not) haha
The feckn thing was 15 foot tall & blocking the sunlight into the neebs garden so I ended up
chopping it down to 6ft, they hedge trimmers are a bit shite aint they. I ending up getting one
of my chainsaws oot & savaged it, the 3ft bar was a bit much to hold & stand on a alloy stool. o_O

Half way through the chopping the relation of the one who owns the hedge asked me if I was doing the
whole garden  Feck right off no chance o_O It would take all week, talk aboot taking the pishhh aye
no bother love I'll spend my time & fuel to do yous a favour.

Tools away today sunbathed & cleaned my Motor.

Cheers All tis Rum time :D

I'll have to put up a pic of the 85 metre "hedge" we put up years ago to make sure we didn't get bovva from our neebs at the time.
They was a coupla big ladys from Lesbos who since then fecked off.
So we stupidly just let it grow.
Cypressia Leylandii.
We now can no longer see the mountains!
It will deffo be a chainsaw job together with a lot of rope to pull the cut off bits onto our land for later disposal.
and the new neebs don't know what to make of it. As it's grown so high the bit at the bottom is just trunks so the dogs and us can see through so no longer giving either of us privacy.
Talk about a balls up!

The hedge is 85 metres long, it was planted in April 08, each tree was about a metre high and we planted 85 of them. It is said they grow a metre a year so 14 metres high now???
This is most of it taken from the neebs place, when first planted. you'll feel at home with the mist!

They shouldn't technically have been allowed to grow to more than 2 metres but the neebs split up and moved out and we had far more important things to do than worry about it.
This was taken a few years back in 2018, and you can see that they are there behind the fruit trees in the orchard.

So they are even higher now.
We do need to top them in places so that we can see the feckin view that we bought the land for! Which is why I bought one of those chainsaws and an extension that is supposed to go on our strimmer.
But if that doesn't work it'll be ladders and/or scaffolding. :(

Aye its a tad bushy very nice though, I need to get one of they chainsaws on a pole for a bit of trimming,
I used my mates one about 2 years ago, good bit of kit but then it was a stihl. I will have a wee look the noo.

It wont be long before we get the mist.
