Or the vet is just trying to make you feel better getting real value for the money you have no choice but to spend. These froggies are always very thoughtful.:rolleyes::rolleyes:[/Q
TBH I'd trust a Frog vet over a Brit vet any day of the week. They charge less and are more caring. We get all the vet work done we can in France . The vet in question was doing a proper check but stood to make no money from it. Not our normal vet, who is 500 miles away!!

Afternoon folks:).

Been reasonably productive day today, but there's always a BUT;).
Anyway nailed together a quick trellis for Ms rose which has gone ballistic and is covering the rest of the plants, so that is now propped up and contained a bit better.
Pool is still filling, its like watching paint dry:rolleyes:, so dumped 375kg of salt and some other magic stuff, then do final check when up to level.
Fitted the pump in and other stuff in the pump room to stop the water coming out, so its ready to circulate tomorrow, flick the switch its seized:mad:, its only done 2 seasons, so will get down there tomorrow with tools and some oil to get it moving, if no go then will have to dig out the spare:), As we know any landy owner has spares coming out of thier ears for almost everything:D.

Busy week ahead its almost like being back at work;) NOT:D.

We leave our pump on a timer so it comes on a little while each day. But yes we do have a spare. (The new one was bought in error, don't ask!!) So we hope it won't seize. This did happen once but luckily it was under guarantee. We found it necessary to fit a pre filter filter bag as it seized due to tiny rock/dust/sand particles.
Good luck with it all!:)

There are good and not so good in all countries. The only really objectionable one that we encountered happened to be French! I have to say that my vets fees in the UK are very reasonable although my long-standing one has now retired and he sold his practice to a young 'trio' of ambitious vets and their prices rose instantly to astronomical! Needless to say I chose to unregister with them.

As we have discussed before, leaving our pumproom with water in the pipes with our temps is not a good idea;).

Scratchy Cat is found! :D :D :D
The little rascal had hidden herself behind all the junk in the under-stairs cupboard.
It "was" oddly open this morning and we both looked in there, but she must have gone right to the back of the space under the lowest stairs.
She has only just come out (of her own accord) and has had some food and is now in her basket on he upstairs landing :D
