Had a busy couple of days, my bank card decided it didnt want to work anymore wft ???
Spent over an hour in the bank taking to the fraud team turned out to be a false alarm
they thought someone tried to buy loads of car parts but it was me at the cash machines
trying to take money out & they got the codes mixed up.
Anhoo the card shat its self & didnt want to work anymore?? :(
Sounds like yer triggurd the anti theft fing wiv unusual transactions. Eye did simular wivva number ov purchases ont same day recently. Me fone from argos. Diesel from a station eye int used fer a few years. Few uvva chops ont same day. Not me usual spending abbits so they contacted me ter check.

This is what we have done for ages, but ever since W drove off the road, asleep, it has been obvious she isn't really up to driving such long distances. She has to take loads of painkillers every day plus she is now 74, etc etc. so we decided it is safer for her to ride with me with her car behind us. When over there for 6 months we need two cars. a little un for general running around but a big un for load lugging. I agree though and we have been thinking of getting just one more modern and more economical vehicle some sort of an estate maybe. But, and this is just a personal thing, she loves driving her Pluriel with the top down and I love driving the Disco! Also in dodgy weather, bing in the mountains, the Disco is reassuringly safe especially if we go off into the forest roads in the Montagne Noire. Ther is a bit of green laning/off road stuff we can do.
Seems a lorra hassul to tow a car over there. Could yer not put up wiv just taking one car. Just finkin...

Yesdi eye went oot in me garden un me bobbin were ont fence looking at me. E churped different to normal. Eye had wurms ready so went and put em in me special place. Looked ferrim ont fence and e was gone. E was already at me wurms. So eye goes to me wotchin position ont other side ov me garden 5m away. Then somefink strange append. E would normally fly away after eating. Often to the fence eye is standing by. Eye always fort he was looking to see if eye had more wurms, even though he had left some behind. On this ocasion he flew in little stages towards me. Then to the step un gottid close to some big leaf grass that edgar dunt like. Eye planned to remove it at some point. E then hopped round it un looked int uvva side. Then flew ont patio a foot away by where eye was standin un startid churpin. Hopped round me weely bin ont patio un along the fence to the rear ov me watta butts. Then fings went quiet. Then he was up int tree whisltin on security duty. Eye finks e's gorra little one hiding somewhere. Eye fort there may be somefing int me bush as sometimes eye spot im flying to/from it several times in a short period. Hadda quick look behind me watta butt few minnits later but dint see anyfink.

@Stanleysteamer
So saw a few campers with Aframes & cars quick look & they use eyelets in the front of the car where your towing eye goes, then some have a cable linked to the handbrake system. Some cars are unbraked due to the weight(below750kgs)

what’s the kerb weight of the pluriel ?
Far more than that. I do know that one or two cars are under the weight limit, but there are not many. Pluriel weighs 1177kg.
The braking system, as i have mentioned before, has to be far more complex than just a cable to the handbrake. Sadly.
We are going for a trailer.

That was bettern simply blocking your card, which is what happened to me in the past. Had to phone up to free it off.
Also, for some stupid reason if I ever try to top up my Tesco mobile phone, with my Tesco credit card they ALWAYS block it! Even for £10.
Mad!

This is what we had to do last year, but for one thing we allus takes SO much stuff with us and also do I trust my Disco not to break down at all ? Over a period of 6 months? So far it hasn't but we did have an accident in it once so would have been utterly sstuck without another car, seeing as we live 15 mins up a mountain from the nearest shop, in a car. If we can't get a trailer we'll be forced to do this.:eek::eek:
