Yesdi yesdi eye went oot into me garden to put down some wurms. Me bobbin was down the bottom whistling. He flew to the tree next to me and turned his edd to watch me while still whistling. A minnit later eye had a look from a distance and he was eatin wurms. Always careful not to spook him. He jumps to me little weed fence then flowd across me garden to land near me ont big fence. Happy with that eye left wonderin if he was watching to me to see what else eye was doing.

Yesdi eye opened me door and he was ont fence near me cassul. So eye grabbed some wurms from me stash by the door. He disappeared but eye has seen him many times drop to the floor un hop under me bush. Eye put some wurms under me other tree int normal place and seen him eatin em moments later. Result.

Me wooden window sill wiv one coat of unda coat is doing well. The soft bit took the coat ok un watta us collecting ont top ovvit. So not soaking int like before. Whennit stops raining it will gerra nuvva unda coat. Possibly nuvva one after. Then some colour coats. Me test has wurked so eye can start on the uvva sills anorl.

There is a very short window of no rain although I couldn't describe outside being dry. It is only a matter of a few minutes before the deluge returns so I must get m' T an' toast quick before getting off on the daily dog perambulation.

Enjoy your day folks, whatever you have in store.:)

My robin insists on coming into the house to see if he can find anything better than the meal worms I put outside for him. Having to keep the door closed all the time is a bit of a pain - except when it's raining.:)

Afternoon (just) folks :).

So had a few hours in the garage working on a LR:eek: who would have thought that:D nothing serious, but will only say 26yr old plastic on the spares car is no replacement, as its just as broke too (now:oops:).
Anyway enjoyed some garage time and M took the "mud ball" to pick up our frozen goodies:), made it back too:D.
So pie and Humm, what? mash or chips the debate is ongoing at this time;). Up date just been decided:D.

Oh the young coooos have relised that the grass is greener in places tother side of the wire:D, seem to have some very young 1s lately. But the herd has taken down a lot of the ****ty scrub that has grown over the last few years. Lack of local village ponies being grazed, used to be a lovely green ish area:).

Hope all had a good midweek work day:).

J

...that annoyingly, the imperial threading change gear I bought has been impossible to install on the piece of cr@p chinese mini-lathe and provide a non binding/clashing gear-train.
To add to the grief a woodruff key has gone AWOL so I cannot put it back as it was. :(
UPDATE:
I don't like to be beaten by a problem so I made a new woodruff key by hand, and used a different mix/gear order and now I have it working much better. I can see that the FWD/REV capability of the motor is incompatible with the amount of movement/backlash in the gearbox FWD/REV tumbler gears. I think that providing a harder locking detent for the FWD/REV tumbler set may fix the problem because if I hold it in position by hand it all works fine. :D :D :D
Tomorrow I may try cutting a 24TPI thread on this metric lathe. :D
