But when we order from Waitrose for delivery, if they ain't got stuff in stock they send you better stuff at the same price, and anything short date is free. Gotta love that!

Afternoon folks.
Well back to the ceiling in the east wing this morning, need to pick up some cement now so I can fill the holes I bashed putting the joists in so that ended that work.
So went and looked at the OF in the garage as I have some heat reflective/insulation to replace. Got the area cleaned up and will attempt it tomorrow.
Think I may also get some exhaust wrap as on closer inspection the rear branch comes pretty close to the starter. what colour to use. But that's for another day.
Been cracking day and the sun is still out its 4 O clock summers coming.
Got to pick up our meat, sausages, pork pies & pukka type pies order tomorrow, good ole pie and mash has already been decided for tea.

Been painting the walls of a bedroom for the last couple of days. Got the paint from wix at the weekend, two cans of the stuff at knockdown price. I got two cans on account of I always seem to run out of paint a few brush strokes short of a room and they only had three cans left. Finished the room with an inch of paint left in the first can . So the spare can will prolly go on the garage wall later this year. And its close to heritage green, so cool for a garage

I should send the mrs up to help. She like slatesCracking sunny day here with a couple of hail showers. Progress of the slating its taking longer
as the old slates need sized dressed & re-holed but nearly there with this side.
