Ont tuesday edga will av been wiv me for 2 years. He will be about 3 years old. Crispmus issa difficult time ferrim as he still remembers being int chop wotchin uvva crispmus trees wivvoot roots slowly dying. Not to mention the murderin process int forest when they cut the roots oft. He was one ov the lucky ones that gets a propoer ome. Crispmus trees int just fer crispmus. They is fer life.
We also have a lickle Crispus tree that we brings in an decorates each year, he is getting a little bit bigger every year. He's about 2' now.
Is this really that rare?

Well, dunno what to say to that!
We do it cos we normally go away for Crispmus and we are away, normally, all summer. We don't take it with us at Crispmus, we have a lickle plassy one we put up in the rented place and often the owners will put one up.
In our last house when we were both working and didn't have our other place we used to buy one, put it up in the house then plant it in the garden, so by the time we left there, there were three smallish Xmas trees in the garding!
I guess all families have their own traditions.;)

Generally peeps these days don't go in for it like the older generations. They buy a plastic one or a non rooted live one. Sad really!

Well, here's ours.

We bought one in 2002 and then planted him in the garden where he grew and grew and grew in spite of being pruned every year to keep his girth in check. I used to put outdoor lights on him every year until he got too big to get up to it and then two years ago he just had to go. :( We donated him to the local primary school who were delighted with him. :)
