I certainly use it more than most of you guys, Free wood cant be overlooked:D. That old fruit wood was bloody ard too:).

You are a tight git sometimes less than 30quid:D, you would drink that in 1 bottle and not think anything of it:).

I certainly don't use mine much. I really only use it for cutting up the wood we buy in metre lengths and as we are only ever over there spring to autumn a stere of wood lasts several years. Apart from that once in a while I need to work on our land, but again, not much.
Don't get the £30 quid thing. My tools to sharpen cost less than that yet the sharpening machines in your link were in the hundreds unless you actually meant the one at the bottom of the page, which I only just scrolled down to find. ;).
Yes I am a tight git, sometimes, but I will spend money rather than make false economy, I just won't throw something away that I can fix, or pay someone to do a job I can do myself. Unless I don't have the time, the energy or can't be assed. Hence we just spent thousands on mew fascias and soffits.
And yes, I would think twice about drinking a £30 bottle of wine. They are only drunk on special occasions!!!
Weekdays the daily bot is between €5 and €8. At weekends more like €10 to €15.
We ain't made of expensive wine!!!
Come and stay with us and you will be well entertained with the best from the cellar!!:):):)

Afternoon folks:).

So today is sunny again:). So sharpened the chainsaw and got the last bit cut up and axed. Noticed a limb off another tree so went and grabbed that and did the doings to that aswell.
Might get me 1 of those chain sharping thingies next time in town then I can sharpen a spare and just swap when needed. Need to check I have the most aggressive chain on it too.

As the sun is now going over the yard arm:p:rolleyes:, its time for a sit down and a surf:).
Tea is sorted as the big pot of chilly from last night is getting a second go around, Just got to decide if to have it with a jacket tatty or raw toast:D.

OOooaaaarrrrrr..... a sharpin machine how very posh there we thought you were a hillbilly :D

Do you mean guide type thing? so you do it at the right angle?
That's what I use together with the correct size round file which fits in it. I sharpen mine every two tankfuls of juice and turn the chain guide over. So it runs on the other side, to even the thing out. And yes it is handy to have two chains so one is always sharp. I got mine over tinternet. Can't be sure which one as it is in France.
"Oregon kit" that was it. does everything.Amazon product

I sharpen mine when the chips get smaller not recommended for chopping tatties o_O

I use these peeps.....
Chains for chainsaws: Chainsdirect
