I have 2 of those . I ordered it online and before they delivered I found one in the local Aldi and grabbed it. 2nd one has never been out of its box.
They do a pretty good job, although you have to remove the chain from the saw to do the sharpening whereas with the file you don't.

Dottir took her car in for its MOT this morning, into the local garage (they are a good bunch and do great work). It passed but front brake pads are very low. Dottir asked if I wanted to do them. WOT - in this weather - no thanks. Garage is doing them, they will have them done quicker than I can get to eurofartparts and back :D

Afternoon folks:).

Still sunny here so got some more odds n sods done outside, some more wood sawn an axed. Ready to be stacked near the house and covered that will be our supply if we cant get down to the wood shed:D.
So now wondering what to nosh later:).

Yeah but to be honest its 2 mins to take the chain off, then a few mins to sharpen with a better edge than faffing around with a file. for me anyway;).

I do the same all the time but I am pleased to report that I have never had your experience. I wonder if you had a 'rogue' jar. :)
I have to admit the top surface of the liquid in it looked a tiny bit scummy, but I reasoned that they would have changed colour if there was a problem, and gone soft etc. They hadn't and tasted only a tiny bit woody. How long do you keep yours then before chucking them once opened?
I have just checked and although the date on the jar is a few months out, they were kept unopened until we opened them at the beginning of October and the jar says, "once opened keep refrigerated and eat within 2 months once opened." So maybe I was just on the edge of the times.
Maybe it was something else, like the dried Froggy sausage I ate with them!
Anyway, better now! :):):)
