Morning all, the dog tried to go for a walk but couldn't. She looks so confused :( poor thing. Hopefully get an appointment first thing to see what is wrong.

My mate has just been though the same thing with his collie it had arthritis & paid lots for meds
every month as you do, it was a heavy dog which prob didnt help. He lasted a year then it went
down hill rapid.:( It all started when the dog fell out the dog walkers van & hurt his leg.
I hope its goes well with the vet.

We have just got back, she has something called idiopathic vestibular disease. It means she acts like she is having a stroke or very drunk. There is no cure but she may recover on her own. They gave her a couple of injections and she is resting now.
Pets are such a big part of your life, it is amazing the emotional turmoil they create!

Afternoon folks:).

So today is sunny again:). So sharpened the chainsaw and got the last bit cut up and axed. Noticed a limb off another tree so went and grabbed that and did the doings to that aswell.
Might get me 1 of those chain sharping thingies next time in town then I can sharpen a spare and just swap when needed. Need to check I have the most aggressive chain on it too.

As the sun is now going over the yard arm:p:rolleyes:, its time for a sit down and a surf:).
Tea is sorted as the big pot of chilly from last night is getting a second go around, Just got to decide if to have it with a jacket tatty or raw toast:D.

I am sure all pet owners understand and are hoping for the best for her. Hopefully the jabs and rest will recharge her enough fingers crossed.

It is surprising how much pain dogs will actually put up with, which makes it an even harder to really know how much pain they are in . We know as we went through it with ours:(.

At least you know what it is now.
Poor thing.
Just read a bit of this.

It doesn't look too bad, but still not good either.
Hope it settles down. :)
As you know we have three and worry about them from time to time. Wouldn't be without them though!

Do you mean guide type thing? so you do it at the right angle?
That's what I use together with the correct size round file which fits in it. I sharpen mine every two tankfuls of juice and turn the chain guide over. So it runs on the other side, to even the thing out. And yes it is handy to have two chains so one is always sharp. I got mine over tinternet. Can't be sure which one as it is in France.
"Oregon kit" that was it. does everything.Amazon product

Up not early yet again. Wifey had to look to see what is on at the auction.
Jewellery of course.
A frankly horrible looking table which would "go outside on the decking" in frogland. To be fur, we have been trying to find a cane/colonial style table to go with the two chairs we have for there, and just cannot find one.
Wifey has done the shopping online for last week but two before Christmas.
Will be wrapping and sending parcels for Christmas off to stepson and family in Frogland today. Post office is next to Teigla tiles so we will see!
May have a bash at stripping down the lawnmower.
All good fun.
Have a nice day folks!!
