They are collecting it for nuffin, anyway. But they are funding the transport costs for bringing it to us as well as the cost of the item, so it will cost us nuffin at all. And it is the initial transport costs they don't legally have to refund, but they are doing so. We are well happy.
Asked about a new one, but their showroom only shows what is available, so you still have to order one..:rolleyes:
We have found the receipt for all the other stuff, it came from a local place called World of Furniture which does pine stuff as well as oak. THAT is where we got all the other stuff we love so much and they are still in existence we think so we'll be going back there!!!:):):):):) AND they keep it in stock so the one you see is the one you get!
Feck waiting another 6 months for another bit of tat!
Yer but no but doorstep delivery is 10 sovs. Was it really worth all the hassel?

Well today really sucked me off.
I spent most of it cleaning and repairing two vacuum cleaners.
(Not a joke), one VAX, one Dyson and one with a bite of sh!te on.......:D:D:D
And no don't ask me about the hairs on my Dicky Dido.
Wifey has a tendency to fall when carrying things, so I've told her, whatever you are carrying, throw it and save yourself, to avid needing to go to orspicle, yet again.
So she feels her foot touch a dog bed in the kitchen and throws the part of the Dyson she is carrying, the bit that contains the muck. It breaks a bit but she doesn't fall over, she just stumbles.
Result, I suppose. o_O:confused::)
This after I have fixed tother un.
Still that is what we all keep bust old Dysons in the loft for int it?
I had to swop a few bits but it still works and she still bitches about it. She will not be happy until she has bought one of every make of Hoover ever made and discovered that not one of them will pick up the particularly clingy hair of one of our dogs.:rolleyes::mad::mad:
We will be reflooring the lounge in wood, once I 've finished the utility. So it is all my fault!;)
Get yerself a henry

For the purpose of hoovering, or mearly a friendly face to talk to?
Both. Since buying my two life has changed quite a bit. No more hooverin. They do it by themselfs. They compeet ter suck up the most which keeps them busy. Tea time round the table issa bit difficult as they can pinch yer sosijis int split second. They sleep int spare room by the radiator at nite. Keeps em oft the bed.

Bin there done that! Paid a fortune for them and I can confirm that the HENRY (old version 'cos it has bigger engine) with the turbo head is the best of all.:) Knowing that that should save you a bit of money.:):):)

Morning All :D
We have a digital retinopathy screening to ferry someone too this morning. :)
Still fed up about the car but hopeful we can find the leak now it is sans carpet. :(
Town is still gridlocked because of UKPowerNetworks and their inability to run their projects.
Have a great Friday. :D

When yer gorrit powered can yer tell us if it is silent int operation or hassa fan? Eye need a silent cctv recorder which is difficult to find at reasonable price.
I can report it is not silent, there is a fan in it. It is quiet but not silent.
@Stanleysteamer my system will be a closed loop. I don't want it to be viewed over tinterweb as I have a deep mistrust to those who provide that service. It is mainly so if we have a dispute over deliveries etc I have evidence they didn't show or things like that. It has an internal 2tb hdd and I can lift images from it via the RJ45 cable plugged into a laptop or via a usb cable.

Damp but NOT raining which is just as well as the tree company men are coming this morning to do my big 'edges.
Although it is Friday I do not think that is going to help me feel any better after a bit dose of side effects from the recent Moderna vac. I had no reactions to the previous two Pfizer ones and will be refusing any further vacs if they are not the Pfizer one. I just cannot be in the position of being unwell.
To all you workers, stay safe and prepare yourselves for a good weekend.:)

I found the little G-Tech K9 to be very good at getting the cat hair up off the carpets (when we had carpets). ;)
What it struggled with was my very long (18" pony-tail at the time) hairs wrapping round the beater-bar bearings.

You’ve moved to Lincolnshire not the West Bank

I know, it is hard to comprehend as we lived in a fortress with armed guards and searchlights at night  I had stuff nicked out of the back garden that they lifted over a wall!!
Here it is really for things like deliveries that they say happened but did not. A Yodel driver refused to get out of their vehicle because of my dog. I had to go and get the parcel from them.
It is difficult to change ones mindset when you lived in a high crime area for 19 years :(
