I have attached the wiring diagrams for the 2012 onwards fender, for the headlamp levelling and indicator lamps. 2010 is similar but the connection references will be different. Pure guesswork; if the levelling motors are running the fault is not with the motor (are they both running?) but might be with the internal switch or diode. Another speculation is that the levelling motors share a common header earth with the indicators. As you have fitted new LED indicators, are they back-feeding the levelling motors through the earth? And are the earths in good order?

Click on them & it downloads, thats cool o_O

Thanks Wimblowdriver
Yes have just fitted new LED Indicators, so will have a test and disconnect them and see if the fault goes away.
Thanks

Stripped down and reassembled motor still making a noise and not adjusting elevation of headlight, guess its knackered.
Set headlight elevation so all good, will look for a replacement on fleabay when I can be bothered
Is it only one of the levellers thats not working? which would indicate a wiring fault. Check that both feed wires going into the leveller have power when the switch in the vehicle is activated (one wire live for up, the other live for down) If the motor is running constantly which feed wire has power when the switch is not being used? Does the leveller work as it should when removed from the headlamp and wires still connected?

Is the leveller motor spindle properly engaged with the headlamp bezel, or possibly the bezel has been damaged?

No worries its all about helping out aint it :);) This is the site & gear we used.....
Plant Training Wire Kits - Wire Plant Supports | S3i Group
I cant find the pics of it fitted :( Easy to fit, I screwed the eyelet halfway in then clamped it up
then screwed it in using a screwdriver through the loop to take up the tension(worked a treat) :)
Loads of different options for clamps/thickness of cable ect
Cheers mate. You is a star, Kev!;):):):):):)

Just had a good look at these. Weirdly Wifey had a kit a bit like this for securing things to the ground. They had clever pegs that had the wire connected half way up, as the tension is put on the pegs they rotate to horizontal in the earth where you have just driven them. Used them together with ratchet straps to secure the new hen house to the ground to stop it from being blown away in the feck-off strong winds we get up there. But the turnbuckles are a lot neater and prettier. :):):):)

shud be aybul ter refund it online wivvoot talking to peeps:

That is exactly where I have been going over and over again, but each time I click on "chat now" it just freezes, or does now. It didn't when I started. But I think it has woken up to what I want to do, cos it keeps posting up the same case number.
There is also a little message saying, "if this don't work it may be cos you have blocked cookies" so I checked they weren't blocked, but no dice.

Well LRM, apart from the sad news about rusty Disco 2 bodies, also had an interesting (worrying) article about the need to have a tachograph if the gross train weight is ..... well it didn't make it clear, but he was over 5.35 tonnes.
Now when I have been towing stuff through Frogland to our place when we were fitting it out etc, I was towing a trailer with feck off tons in it. Never took it to a weighbridge but it must have been close to the 3.5 tonne towing max, which with the weight of the Disco 2 must have put it up to about 5.5 plus.:eek::eek:
Glad I am no longer doing this. Don't know what the law is in Frogland either......:(:(:(
However @Hippo would have loved another article cos it was all about how bloody marvellous the second series Freelander is and how we should all go out and buy one NOW!!!!!!!:):):):):):)

I have tried from my Norton account and I run into the same brick wall.
Just a moment ago I tried again and got a bit closer to chatting to a human being but then was told it was 14 minutes before I could actually chat, and last time that happened I waited 30 minutes ands still didn't get to chat to any one.
Giving up and will try again tomoz, but I have a busy day. Have to be up at stupid o'clock to empty the tools out of the Disco before driving it into Bmouth to get it to the bloke who is finally going to do the gearbox leak. Then various running around before ending up at the vets with dog to have her stitches taken out. at 18:40.
Life for us retirees isn't usually this busy!:):):)
