With thoughts of being in Frogland soon, my thorts turn to the classic car scene there.
Here is the website for the best mag over there, for these. (Hate to say it but makes even Practical Classics look a bit empty and amateur.)

See that Renault 8?
My bruv had one once. Rusty as feck but went like stink. Common as muck once.
Now cost an arm and a leg!
Yet I see Renault 5s and 4s still being used as daily drivers. Far less rust over there!
If I had somewhere to store one when I wasn't there I think I'd be getting one, i.e. a French classic, round about now.
But the cost of them over there is insane. A Peugeot 403 may be on the cards.
Haven't looked at the prices for a while, too tear-jerking!

I know where there is a low mileage Renault 5. Ok for a buyer who smells of onions. :p:D

Once the most popular car in Frogland. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renault_5
But there were many different variations.
From ones with the gear lever sticking out of the dash to ones with four on the floor.
Different engine sizes, etc etc.
But great little shopping trollies.
Would have to increase my onion consumption!!!:D:D:D

Never realised exactly how ground breaking it was. Also I had a Renault 6 when over there for a year in 1978/9. Never realised it came before the Renault 5, Bloody frogs and their car numbering!
