@My Old Landy .... I am having lots of fun making my "Tiltometer".
I have got the gyro working and giving me readings.
I also have a script that writes stuff to an SD card, so now I need to fold these 2 scripts together.
I also need to add a RTC so the readings are Date/Time stamped in the files.
I also want a few LED's lighting so that's more "fun" yet to come.
Quite an enjoyable little pastime.

Bit confusing when the film "The longest day" turns out to be a film about D day which of course was the 6th of June!
Summer Solstice, suppose all the druids were annoying Stonehenge?
Dunno, don't watch the news anymore.;)
They all decided to go to Avebury. Blocked the ridgeway & local roads & then annoyed the locals.
Wonder what the place is like after a weekend of hippies

... I am pleased that even on a pretty dull day like today my little 30watt Solar panel is keeping the battery in my shed quite well topped up.
Today it is displaying 13.8v on a sunny day that voltage is usually 14.3 or slightly better. It seems to be keeping the battery in a stable state at least. :)

Afternoon folks:)

Right the weather has been cracking and just standing on a small step ladder to paint has been really kind on me knees:) That's all done now. Into big boy town tomoz for supplies. So that should leave me 2 days to get the guttering up, should mange that may even have a dip in between, as just checked the pool temp and its 24:).
Have also noted loads of honey bees sitting on the edges of the cover having a drink, thirsty work making honey:).

Friend of Ms arrives on Saturday so the bloke is gonna be outnumbered for a week:eek:.

You were never a boy scout then:D:D

When you off?

Cheeky beggar!
I'll have you know that my knots and lashings are second to none. Taught by the best!
But I think this stuff is nylon, bought in error, and not at all suitable for the job.
The new stuff is fine!
(Oh and i was an Air Cadet not a scoot!)
Your pool sounds very inviting!
We'll be with ours, if nothing goes wrong, by about the 2nd July!
Best of luck with the guttering! and M's friends!
Stan!:):)
