Yer need to bear int mind his conversion price includes design and its a one oft retrofit. In production as a new build it would be much cheaper.Quite!!!!!
Have watched a couple of documentaries about converting cars to electric.
They are always , as you say, mental money.
And they keep trying to convince us that electric will be getting cheaper.
At the moment they are the playthings of rich tree huggers, or rich peeps who want to convince others of their green credentials.
I remember you mentioning electric boats. And I also cannot get away from the sight, sounds and smells of petrol and diesel engines.
And the smell of the interior of an old car, that ought to be made into an After Shave! Or a perfume.
Better than the smell of some tart's "bits", and she is marketing that! FFS!
Morning all, it's still trying to decide wether to be very frosty or just a bit frosty ...
we tried the rendering just made more work before getting some one inMorning all, late start on site today. More walls to plaster and my float is worn on the left edge to the point it’s just starting to scratch. Hard work just using using one edge for finishing up takes ages to bed a trowel in
It was the best decision I ever madePerhaps I'll suggest my next Project is early retirement and see how that goes down ?
Next job is rendering 3 walls that have cracked and caused damp. Clearly someone mixed the render harder than the brickwork at some point. Luckily it is so hard it is falling off in 6’ pieceswe tried the rendering just made more work before getting some one in
Hope you took yer lang spoonGuid morn
Another cracking day
Well that's the farthest the Defender has been driven, in a single day for the past 12 months
Drove across to work in the Kingdom of Fife for a meeting to find out about possible future Projects.

We will need pic's and an eggsplanation of whats going on, so eye will know how to do some repair wuk to me castle later int year.Next job is rendering 3 walls that have cracked and caused damp. Best of luck with the journey!Yes, I'm up and ready for off! Like you, I am hoping for a much clearer run today, the only one problem I can see is that the A470 through Rayader is going to be closed for a couple of weeks for gas main works. With the car only, it is easy to find a way round but where I will have to go with the van in tow at the weekend is anyone's guess. Anyone who knows the Rayader area will know what I mean - Diversion routes in mid Wales are not easy to find.
Enjoy your zoom, zoom,zoom,zoom,zoom,zoom,zoom,zoom.
Interesting. I have seen some 'drop in' ev solutions before but was waiting for them to develop further to see what they would be like. Eye is hoping one day there will be a suitable ev setup will drop into my FL2. The alternative being to swap over the essentials from a cheap ev car. These guys claim to be "taking the brains" out of conversions.

But note the range, (pitiful) and although they will be supplying "crate" motors, "but the partners hope to nail that (pricing) down in the next few months". (As this is aimed at peeps with old Ferraris why are we surprised?
The guy converting his kit car is doing any design and fitting himself, as most KC guys do anyway, so there will be no costs there. I do strongly hope he can be persuaded to tell us the costs of the bits.
He has to fit a cooling system for the batteries. Never knew that. So batteries need to be charged up and then to use their own power to cool themselves down?
Who'd have thought it!
(He is doing it partly cos his original engine has gone pop.)
