No pretty pictures of progress on my conversion/building work today because it is all inside stuff.
Wiring for LED lighting all in place.
Wiring for external wall-lights all in place.
Wall & roof voids rammed FULL of insulation.
Squirty foam sealant applied around all windows/doors.
DPM applied to wall & 70% of ceiling (need some more).
It has been a full day.
I am getting there. The build will be complete this week.

In truth it has been a "hands-on" active project since 29th March with the Easter break in between.
Actual "build days" has been 10 (so far). I expect we will be finished (awaiting plastering) at the end of this week, so that will be 13 days.
It's not me.... Tom is a demon worker, fast, fastidiously exact & precise and 6' + tall with the reach of a gorilla.
I struggle to keep up with him, but we do work well as a team. e.g. he measures, calls out the sizes, I cut and hand him the wood and he fixes while I cut the next piece.
He is in his mid-30's, and I am 66, it IS a struggle for me, but I never give up, because I am a dogged, determined old git. ;)

Evening all quite a cold day although the sun was out wiv a couple of light showers
rain shower = tea time :D:D
We got some more done to the balcony & a few decking boards fitted....

Yer!
And it took me a bit of time to get my blessed heating partially drained down again so I could pipe the new kitchen rad up.
Had one mo where I just said "feck it" as there was a slight leak at a compression joint, so I went the the full "Das Boot" on it, didn't get too wet but cured the leak.
Of course it won't warm up as that rad position was always the coldest.
While fiddling about, closing rads down, etc ,even the one in the garage, which NEVER gets hot, HAS got hot..
So I have been shutting rads down all over the house to try and push the airlock along.
Will go and check it in a mo.;)
Hmm!
It is warm, at the top:rolleyes:. ;)
And there are only 2 rads on out of 14.
Will leave it on all night and cross my fingers.;)
(Don't really like plumbering.:(
