I ripped all of our CD's to MP3's and used a programme to do the donkey-work.
It was for my home made digital juke-box with touch-screen.
If anybody wants it.... I also have a file of the All time top 500 songs, and most of the top 500 Albums.
Send me a giggy-stick and I can fill it for you. :)

The programme is a free one called "Audiograbber" very easy to use.
If you cannot find it, send me a USB stick and I will write it to the stick for you.
I think it uses the "LAME" encoder which is pretty good, and I cannot remember whether it can be told to use other "lossless" encoders like FLAC; but I will check.
PM me if you need anything.

Thanks for that, I will follow it up this afternoon, although I have to say the third line of your post is gibberish to me.:rolleyes::rolleyes::)
Ok, when "ripping the tracks from CD's they are in a format called CDA and the program uses a "convertor" to change them to MP3 (or other format).
LAME is one such convertor, and FLAC is another. LAME allows more "losses" in the audio spectrum when converting, whereas FLAC is almost "Loss-less" in its conversion.
I hope this is clearer?
