I did tell the wee one that it was yuk out there but he just ignored me and went.

Overcast but dry and not windy. They have threatened us with some sunny spells laters which would be much appreciated to top up me solar batteries.

Well the new rubber band for me bike arrived today. just waiting on a 55mm socket to get the wheel off. Then to try and remember how to change a tyre. have decided to do it myself so i can only blame myself if i mess the finish up.
MOT due in March (i fink) so will be hoping this February sunshine continues.
Hope everybody got the weekend productivity planned

Well here it is sunny, now. The Waitrose order has arrived, been washed dried and put away.
I have cramp in my left leg which is fecking annoying but otherwise OK.
Need to get on and fettle the Disco for its upcoming MOT, it really needs some quite big works, one of which I couldn't do even if I was fully fit, (involves taking the autobox off.) but I think I have a temporary fix to stop it chucking so much oil out. It didn't fail on it last year so it ought to just be an advisory again anyway, if i left it as it is.
The other is quite major but I might take a temporary short cut and finish the job later
The rest are either a pain, like removing the handbrake drum, cleaning out the ATF that has got in there, and then replacing the shoes, with new, where the biggest pain will likely be getting the screw undone that hold the drum on.
Then just boring things like getting the SRS light to go off, (the plug under the driver's seat prolly), and taking the big back seat out as I still have to get around to mending the locking mechanism,
But I ain't going out with a dodgy foot to lie or kneel on the ground in the fecking rain, which, like everyone, we have had so much of.
