Was up on time today, but the alarm on my watch DID NOT sound so that's probably why I have been oversleeping. :)
Paper's got, cat has been fed etc. etc.
1st coffee down and one to go.
Home Gyming it today...later.
I put my lathe back together yesterday and my changes have improved things (I think).
Still waiting for a technical response from the e-bay seller. But I am holding out little hope.
I have also asked him why his ad shows a known good brand of 3-Jaw chuck yet he has supplied a generic no-name item on this lathe. :(
Caveat Emptor (It must be Latin for "he saw you coming mate") or what?
You all have a great day :D
Was it sold by someone in china or uk? Eye appreciate it was probably made there. Do you know where it shipped from to get to you? Eye have found the uk based china sellers are betterer than china based ones but there's always an additional risk when buying from non traditional uk retail sellers.

Sold by a decidedly Chinese sounding seller(all of the responses are in broken engrish) allegedly based in Walsall UK.
