A distant relative of mine, female, used to run a pub in the centre of the toon. Just looked through this lot to try and remember the name of it.

Lord there were hundreds weren't there?
Caint remember its name, grr!
But note there was a Discovery and even a Stanley Arms!
God how times have changed. from one pub to every 123 inhabitants to now!

Anyone else been watching "The wonderful world of puppies"?
We've recorded it.
My stars, no wonder their world is so wonderful. they all belong to to well wedged-up sods.
Tonite we saw one that went on the family's gin palace on the Norfolk Broads, another that got wafted off to its owners pad in Provence. Pad = bloody big ouse and loads a grounds in the middle of nowhere.
Another on a farm with 10 loose boxes,
All the peeps had big houses with huge gardens.
Hardly typical
And the totally inane voice over, like Johnny Morris one the worst day of his life.
We love dogs and used to breed them but this yuk!:mad::mad::mad:
Hardly typical.
And the thought that all these rich peeps were being paid by the TV company to show their doggies.:mad::mad::mad::mad:
Didn't see any enjoying a wonderful life on the Bransholme estate in Hull, playing fetch with the needles and discarded other detritus!
