No one buys a Freelander because they want one

They buy them because they dont have the guts to drive a proper Land Rover :p:p:p:p
So where does that leave me then? I have a Freelander 2 XS which is as described in the first post and a Defender 90 300 TDi CSW - so I'm gay in the first one and a real man in the latter. We all know the Defender's off road capabilities but I vividly recall towing an Isuzu Trooper 4x4 beached on its axles in thick mud with the longest trailer I've ever seen with 4/5 tons of timber on it - this was using the Freelander by the way as I didn't have the Defender at that time. It pulled it out without any problem at all. I wonder if all the critics have ever been in a modern Freelander.

Few on ere who moan about Freelanders have actually driven one. If they had then they would realise they is wrong when they say nasty things about Freelanders and their owners.
