Its sad ter fink a job would do that to a person. But he/she/it needs ter find oat ferrum selves.
I'd have left several years ago if I'd had the courage to just hand my notice in but my mortgage was higher than it is now.
The new guy is giving up a self-employed status to work full time which does have it's benefits but also its downsides.
He's a really decent bloke as well so I hope I'm wrong and that it does work out for him.

Did you consider calling him back to find out? :p

Aye I did he wants me to repair his rib boat & offered me work up at his new mansion farm
with 300 acres. o_O

Thanks for the thoughts re wifey and shelves! You have to understand she is the most stubborn bloody woman when it comes to being taken to hospital after a fall or other injury. Last winter when she fell and DID break her humerus, it took to the following day to be able to get her to go to casualty. She hates going to hospitals having had to spend so much time in them with one thing and another.
But today she is much better. Looks like just a bruise and possibly a bit of a pull.

Now see what you meant about the van thing, last pic looks nice.
Not worth taking the inside out and using it I suppose?
Still, last pic looks like a glamping thing. I suppose you could use that to make some dosh in the summer, especially if you fit it with anti-midge stuff!

Could always weld your two carriages together then buy someone's kitchen and bathroom which they always throw out when they've bought a new house, like what happens down here. Or doesn't that happen up in Haggisland?
We have a big box trailer and it is a bit tempting to turn it into a caravan, but why bother when I can buy one? I have been offered great money for ours as they don't make them any more, all they make is catering trailers. Once we finally stop shipping stuff over here, I'll do the bit of work it needs, sell it then buy a car trailer so wifey doesn't have to drive all the way down to here just so we can have two cars here.

Tis a woman thing being stubborn lol glad to here its not too bad. :)
Ive never looked at buying a 2nd hand kitchen I might keep my eye out for one now you've
mentioned it. I did think about joining the carriages together great minds an all that.
The people up the road rent out a basic wooden cabin for 500 quid a week so I thought
I could build something a bit different. :D

Today's trip to the boozer was an education.
1. You must own/operate a mobile phone to sign in to the track & trace app (I did not have a phone with me).:(
2. You must only order at a certain spot and then go back to your table and your drink will be brought to you.
3. Punk IPA is quite OK.
All good fun really.:D

No reports on the radio so far mate. Just the slow 'smart' section Portsmouth to Southampton. Make sure to appreciate the new green footbridge just West of Fareham that they closed the road for last weekend
